No two pieces are the same because no two slabs are the same. Here is how we go from your brief to a finished piece in your space — the same way we have done it 500 times.
1. Slab selection.
Once you brief us, we walk you through 3 to 5 actual slab options from our 12-bay inventory. We send photographs, grain detail, and dimensions. You pick. Slabs are American walnut, white oak, claro walnut, maple, and pecan — FSC-certified, kiln-dried for 12 months minimum.
2. Design and rendering.
3D rendering of the final piece in your space, with resin colour samples mailed to you. You sign off before any cuts are made. Most pieces lock in the design within one or two iterations.
3. Resin pour.
Slab is dried, levelled, dammed with melamine forms, and the resin is poured by hand by our master pourer M. Velasquez. Pours typically last 4–8 hours and are filmed end-to-end. We send you the video.
4. Cure and finish.
Three-week cure in a humidity- and temperature-controlled cure room (66°F, 45% RH). Then sanded through 12 grits — 80, 100, 120, 150, 180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200 — and finished with food-safe oil, conference-grade matte poly, or high-gloss spray, depending on the piece. Hand-polished.
5. Crating and shipping.
Custom-crated, fully insured, white-glove freight via Plycon to anywhere in the continental US. International shipping by quote. We bolt the crate to a pallet and pad the piece in foam.
6. Install and sign-off.
Our install team or a Plycon-vetted partner places the piece, levels it, inspects it. We sign the underside, photograph the install, file you in our 500+ commission registry. The lifetime warranty starts the day you sign.
